- The operation of TRICON is not affected by the failure
of any single component.
- It is certified that this system satisfies the safety
integrity level of 3 (SIL 3) specified in JIS C 0508.
- TRICON is fully triple redundant. Any failed modules
can be replaced while the system or the process is running.
- The hardware of TRICON combines three independent, parallel-running
control systems. High-level fault-free continuous operations
are assured by the majority rule of 2 out of 3.
