The operating temperature (up to 600°C) and temperature characteristics of the sensor are No. 1* in the world. This is a high-temperature non-contact displacement sensor that demonstrates its true value in measuring and monitoring displacement and behavior in high-temperature environments such as steel plants and air preheaters.

Product Overview

Enables displacement and vibration measurements in high-temperature environments

The VG series is a non-contact displacement transducer that can be used for displacement and vibration measurements in high-temperature environments which was difficult in the past.
The sensor has a simple structure and is easy to handle, and it has environmental resistance such as no affection from water, oil, dust around the sensor. The sensor is widely used in experiments and R/D such as displacement, vibration, and behavior measurements in high temperature ranges, including in the steel industry.

Features

  • Non-contact displacement and vibration measurements
Non-contact measurement is possible from static displacement
    to dynamic vibration phenomena.
  • Excellent temperature characteristics
    ±0.0035 % of F.S./℃ (Typical)
  • Environmental resistance of the sensor
    Operating temperature is 0 to 600 ℃.
Eddy-current displacement sensor unaffected by cooling water, steam, dust, etc.
Designed for high temperature strength and thermal shock resistance (using silicon nitride ceramics)
  • Lineup of measurement range
    5 ranges from 0 – 2,000 μm to 0 – 25,000 μm
