Smartphone Patrol Inspection System for ZARK Nano

Smartphone Patrol Inspection System for ZARK Nano

Data measured and stored by the wireless vibration sensor ZARK Nano, installed on monitored machinery, can be collected using ZARK NI mobile app(*1). Simply carry your smartphone while patrolling the ZARK Nano installation area(*2). Machine condition data can be collected easily and safely from a distance with the smartphone and then transferred to machine condition monitoring system, infiSYS 3.0.

*1. Available for both iOS and Android smartphones.
*2. Within the Bluetooth communication range from the smartphone (approximately 40 meters in line of sight).

Function briefs

In this application, using the same wireless vibration sensor ‘ZARK Nano’ as the on-premises rotating machinery condition monitoring system infiSYS 3.0 integrated with the ZARK X8II gateway, and the measured data stored in ZARK Nano can be collected and uploaded to infiSYS 3.0 (installed with the patrol inspection option) using ZARK NI mobile app during routine patrol inspections.

Customers can benefit from the following aspects:

  1. Obtain more frequent and higher quality measurement data for better monitoring of machine conditions.
  2. Improve the safety of conventional patrol inspection operations by collecting measurement data away from ZARK Nano via Bluetooth communication.
  3. Reduce initial costs by eliminating the need for deploying the ZARK X8II gateway and on-site Wi-Fi infrastructure.
  4. Confirm the machine conditions with the live trend and spectrum functions of ZARK NI at on-site.

Furthermore, the system can also meet customers’ needs when they are ready to switch to automated data collection mode by deploying the ZARK X8II gateway as well as an on-site Wi-Fi infrastructure in future.

Quick RIVERNEW

Simple and Easy displacement measurement! Easy displacement measurement in FA and laboratory (test and research) scenes.

Product Overview

Quick RIVERNEW is an eddy current type sensor used for displacement measurement with excellent environmental resistance and stability.  Easy set-up and measurement make it beneficial for FA and lab (test and research) scenes, as it gives highly accurate measurements of displacement with changes in micron units for thickness, height, and position etc., without contacting a target object.

  • Eddy current method: Not affected by water, oil, dust etc.
  • IP Rating IPX7
  • Operating temperature -10 ℃ ~ +70  ℃

Features

With this Quick RIVERNEW, one amplifier is good for different measurement ranges and different cable lengths, unlike the conventional eddy-current type converters which were only compatible with certain cable and sensor.  6 different patterns of system configurations are available according to various applications and intended uses, combining one of the three sensors of 2 mm, 5 mm, 10 mm measurement ranges with either of 3 m or 10 m cable lengths and one amplifier

Simple

Useful in a simple instrument configuration.
Sensor types and extension cables can also be shared by one amplifier.

  • Range free amplifier. Commonly used for any of the 3 measurement ranges of 2mm, 5mm or 10mm.
  • Sensor can be chosen from three measuring ranges of 2 mm, 5 mm, 10 mm.
  • Extendable length between sensor and amplifier; with the use of 7 m extension cable, overall length can be extended to 10 m.

Easy

Used conveniently according to the purpose. Only 3 points calibration are required.

  • One single amplifier can be used to meaure any of the targets materials such as iron, stainless steel, aluminum, coper etc.
  • One single amplifier can be used with any of the 3 ranges (2 mm, 5 mm, 10 mm) of sensors.
  • One single amplifier can be used for either of (3 m or 10 m) the cable length.

※ “Simple adjustment” is made possible with 3-point calibration using the spacers. For more accurate calibration, you can use a calibration kit with a micrometer.

System Configuration

One amplifier can calibrate to any of three types of sensors × either of 3 m or 10 m the system cable length.

Applications

Please check the product catalog for other applications.
